Abstract:

Super Typhoon Megi, “Juan”, a peril that entered in the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), brought a pandemonium in the economic panorama of the agricultural sector in the country. More than Php 6,000,000,000.00 (Php 6 B) worth of agricultural lands, plantations, fishponds, and commodities were lost due to its climatological strength. Statistical and satellitebased analyses were performed using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Modeling.
