Abstract:

This particular research is an examination of the various factors to the class performance, particularly grade in Math and English as well as age and gender. Factors such as allowance per week, distance from school, and interest in the subject were also included. This study may provide the College Dean and faculty with the basis of considering such factors in allowing students to take accounting and finance as a chosen field of specialization. Moreover, the findings of the study can be used as basis for an intervention program of the college for students who have difficulty in accounting and finance courses.
