Some Theological Principles Affecting the Morality of Intellectual Property Rights

Abstract:

The primary sources of the Christian faith do not seem to contain anything with a direct bearing on "intellectual property," much less in the forms we are contemplating today, such as computer programs, artworks, and medical formulas. However, there are many teachings (principles as well as practical applications) about material property and ownership in general; and some of these principles may have valid applications in the issue of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
