Tourism Assets of Surigao del Sur: Opportunities and Treats on the Local Tourism Industry

Abstract:

The researcher had the opportunity to take a short visit to some tourism destinations in Surigao del Sur, sometime mid-July, 2017. The author took this opportunity to take down notes, narrate and eventually assess the experiences of his travelling group. This endeavour may serve as material for future researches, classroom discussions and even as source material for undergraduate thesis for tourism and travel management and likewise, on the hotel and restaurant management program.
