Ronaldo R. Cabauatan | Leandro S. Estadilla

Abstract:

This study focuses on the relationship between education and real GDP of the Philippines and Thailand. This study also estimates the impact of inflation rate and unemployment rate on education. Results show that inflation rate and unemployment rate are significant on the number of enrollees in the primary and secondary levels in the Philippines and Thailand. Results also show that real GDP Granger cause the number of enrollees in the primary and secondary levels in the Philippines and Thailand. Further, results reveal that the variables are stationary and normally distributed.
