A total of 100 respondents were involved in the study chosen through a purposive sampling technique. Only those who are particularly engaged into taking and posting selfie/ groufie and aging from 16 years old and up were selected as respondents. The result reveals that the level of emotional intelligence in terms of self-awareness, self-managing emotion, self-motivation, empathy, social skills is high. This implies that students has a high level of self-control or effectively manage to stay composed and poised even in stressful situations, that they are driven and focused, they can understand a given situation and knows how to relate to others. Furthermore, the level of attitude on selfie/groufie of the students is average which means that they use selfies minimally however they engage in using technology to dispose themselves. The males have a higher level of emotional intelligence and that the level of emotional intelligence of the students has significant relationship with their behavior towards their attitude on the usage of selfie/groufie.
