This study aimed to develop a scantron (optical answer sheet) dispenser with security system that could vend scantron sheets for 24 hours a day. Specifically, it sought to address the following: (1) features of the machine, (2) effectiveness and responsiveness level of the device in terms of its operation and functions which include: (a) amount of money accepted, (b) SMS notification (c) outputs: security alarm, LCD display, scantron sheet and (d) other features. The employed methods of the study were experimental development and descriptive approach. The study exhibited the scantron dispenser’s operational and functional features at a very high level. The device has achieved the very satisfactory level of functionality for coin detection, GSM, security system and dispensing system.
