A school in Southern Philippines, which was formerly a college, was established in 1971 as a non-sectarian private university. This university offers basic education, tertiary courses, and graduate studies. In February 23, 2003, thirty-two (32) years after its founding, she received her charter as a university from the Commission on Higher Education.In its years of existence, enrolment plays a crucial role. It is factor that requires a strategic management to enable a university to sustain its operations.
