Abstract:

The objectives of this descriptive-correlational study are to determine if there is a significant relationship between the socio-demographic profile and problem-solving strategies of school principals in Baliuag public elementary schools, and to find out if their decision-making styles influence their problem-solving strategies. A total of 19 public elementary school principals in Baliuag participated in the survey. Results revealed that decision-making styles significantly affected the application of conflict-solving strategies, particularly the use of avoidance and problem-solving. However, socio-demographic profile was not correlated with conflict-solving strategies
