Abstract:

The study aimed to determine the level of satisfaction in life of the regular lotto players in Baybayin, Los Baños, Laguna. It used descriptive research design to systematically and accurately describe the demographic profile of the regular lotto players – age, gender, civil status, religion, socio-economic status, educational attainment, and occupation and their satisfaction in life.

The study found out that the level of satisfaction in life has no significant difference among the respondents. It means that these regular lotto players have only one reason why they bet on this number game, that is, they consider it as one way to fulfill their dreams in life. Therefore, it was recommended that regular lotto players should be more prudent in choosing activity that can contribute to their better living. They should also pay more attention to their personal life like work and family and spend their money in a more meaningful way.
