This descriptive correlation and comparative study aimed to determine the levels of emotional intelligence and 21st century skills of English language learners studying at tertiary schools in Davao City. Three hundred-six respondents were purposively chosen and made to answer the adapted questionnaire. The results revealed that students have high level of emotional intelligence and high level of 21st century skills. Consequently, the respondents differ in their emotional intelligence when grouped according to age, sex, and school. In terms of the significant differences in the level of 21st century skills, only the school has established significance while age and sex did not. More so, significant relationship between students’ emotional intelligence and 21st century skills was confirmed. Findings also revealed that the level of emotional intelligence has a significant influence to the level of 21st century skills. It implies that in every increase in the level of emotional intelligence, 21st century skills also increase.
