The Impact of Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) to its Benefciaries

Abstract:

This study focused on the impact of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program to its beneficiaries within eight barangays of Carmen, Agusan del Norte. The descriptive method and quantitative approach were used in data gathering. In addition, analyzing the results of the survey, the researcher used a frequency distribution statistical tool using the weighted mean derived from respondents. Furthermore, the results of the evaluation showed that the beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program strongly agree based on the data gathered. For the program, the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) has very high impact to its beneficiaries in Carmen, Agusan del Norte in which the program has the great achievement in the goals of obtaining registered beneficiaries of a better life. It was recommended that the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) management, should expand and continue the program and give more welfare especially to those poor people who were not currently a member of the program.
