The researcher conducted a study in 2014 to assess how the city government of Tagum created the conditions in which employees offered more of their capability and potentials. A total of 456 respondents were surveyed. The key findings suggested that engagement was organization-led. Results showed that females had significantly higher levels of engagement than did male employees. Engagement levels on age and length of service showed no considered disparity. The impact was manifested in the organizational performance and public satisfaction with important contribution to formulation of enhancement programs on awards and recognition that ultimately resulted to higher engagement levels.
