Cycris R Pedrosa

Abstract:

The primary objective of this study was to determine the level of satisfaction and job engagement of PhilCom Corporation employees. The descriptive-correlational method of research was employed in this study. Primary data were gathered from all the regular employees of PhilCom Corporation Southern Mindanao operations, specifically in Davao City, Panabo City, Sto. Tomas, Tagum City, Lupon, Mati City, and Bislig City branches, through the use of a three-part survey questionnaire. Frequency count, percentages, the Shapiro- Wilk test, the Levene’s Test, the One-Way Analysis of Variance (ANOVA), the Brown-Forsythe test, the Kruskal-Wallis test, the Mann- Whitney U test, the Tukey’s multiple comparison test, Dunnett’s T3, and multiple regression analysis were used in this study. The level of satisfaction on responsibility and fringe benefits has a strong relationship with emotional engagement. The level of cognitive commitment, on the other hand, was found to be strongly influenced by the level of satisfaction on work itself and fringe benefits. The level of comfort on responsibility and career growth had a strong association with the level of physical engagement.
