COMMUNITY STUDY ON CULTURAL AND TOURISM PERSPECTIVES IN NORTH KOLAKA DISTRICT

Abstract:

This study aims to assess the bajo community perspective of cultural and tourist district of North Kolaka Southeast Sulawesi Province. Samples were selected purposively as many as five people from the Bajo community. Data collection methods used are participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive. The results showed that people bajo Retained Earnings cultural perspective is essential to understand and application of the values of the Bajo Bapongka in the preservation of the environment and marine and coastal ecosystems that have long become a culture that is trusted adanya. Dalam perspective bajo tourist communities can be used as a tourist attraction for local and international communities due to the unique uniqueness of the Bajo community.
