However, many puerperal gymnastics have not been done. Interview with 13 Post Partum mothers about puerperal gymnastics said that they had never done, did not know the purpose or benefits of puerperal gymnastics. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between knowledge and attitudes of postpartum mothers and implementation of puerperal gymnastics. This study applied quantitative research with a cross sectional approach conducted in Wundudopi village area of Baruga sub-district in Kendari city with a total sample of 49 postpartum mothers who gave normal birth. Data were collected by distributing research questionnaires, and statistical test using computerized chi-square. From the results of SPSS test analysis, chisquare mathematical test result showed that X2hit = 4.851> X2 table = 3.841 so that He was rejected, or Ha was accepted which means that there is a correlation between knowledge of postpartum mothers and puerperal gymnastics and the results of SPSS test analysis obtained chi-square statistical test result showed that X2hit = 8.607> X2 table = 3.841 so that Ho was rejected or Ha was accepted which means that there is a correlation between the attitude of postpartum mothers and the implementation of puerperal gymnastics. Suggestions in this research for the next researcher will be continued with other variables or see the effect of puerperal gymnastics on decreasing uterine involution.
