Online Information System for National Service Training Program of Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba

Abstract:

The study aimed to develop an online information system for National Service Training Program (NSTP) of Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba. It would enable the students taking up the subject to acquire information that they need though the use of internet. These include lecture modules, announcements, activities, and updates about the partner communities of the colegio. The system would improve the services provided in NSTP since it would offer satisfactory service in terms of reliability, efficiency, and usability.

 

The proposed system was developed using the Iterative Waterfall Model while Likert Scale was used to get the total percentage of respondents for system evaluation. Based on the results of the survey conducted for system testing, the system is acceptable to the users and beneficial to the institution, organization, and students.

It was found out also that there is really a need to have an online information system for NSTP of Letran Calamba since the colegio is now putting efforts to become the Center of Science and Technology in the near future.
