Developing A Task Force Multiplier Support Program for an Urban Barangay

Abstract:

Public safety is of paramount importance to Philippine local government units. It is discussed and debated by all sectors in a community, albeit, more advocated by the business and civil society organizations. With the highest number of crime against person and property in Region 10 for several years now, the local government unit of Cagayan de Oro embarked on a project, entitled, PRIMEHAT to target lowering the incidence of poverty and crime. This project is vital to the attainment of the city's vision of becoming a metropolitan city by the year 2040.
