Abstract:

The study aimed to develop an online curriculum evaluation system with a new instrument that would compensate the current system’s lack of feedback on the effectiveness of the current curriculum regarding the skills acquired by the students.

Using the capability-based approach, the instrument for curriculum evaluation that would help the Colegio determine the specific skills developed among the students with the current curriculum was constructed. With this approach, the Colegio would determine on how competent the students have become

in their chosen field of study.

This study used action research design and the Iterative Waterfall Model in developing the system. After the system was developed, an acceptance test was conducted to the chosen respondents. Using the Likert Scale, it was found out that the respondents, in general, strongly agreed that the online curriculum evaluation system met the requirements that they looked for.

It was concluded that the system has successfully addressed the problem because it is capable of generating feedback that reflects the skills learned by the students under the current curriculum. Therefore, it was recommended to adopt and implement the system for it would help the colegio producing skilled and competent graduates in the future.
