Cultural Constraints in Managerial Leadership: The Philippine Case

Abstract:

This study is part of a bigger cognitive mapping study of Philippine values in formal organizations, which was conducted to discover the perception of workers in the hierarchy of a corporate organization. The study showed that there are traits workers perceived as either proper or improper. The understanding of these perceptions can be an effective management tool.
