The study’s main objective was to assess the Engineering Laboratory facilities, equipment, and supplies of the Palompon Institute of Technology to propose an improvement of the system during the school year 2017-2018. This quantitative study used the descriptive survey method supplemented with documentary analysis while the data needed were gathered through the adapted questionnaire and statistically treated using the simple percentage and the weighted mean. The respondents of the study are the College of Technology and Engineering (COTE), with 32 full-time engineering faculty. Based on the findings, there is a need to assign a technically trained laboratory technician for system planning, monitoring, and repairing laboratory facilities, equipment, supplies, and laboratory student assistants. Compliance with all minimum requirements stipulated on the CMO regarding availability is a must. Problems occur in the laboratories with the operation, awareness of students and instructors, cooperation of school personnel and administration, planning, procurement, and establishing guidelines for work specifications and order systems. Enhancement of the existing system effectiveness allows determining the best effective system needed to maintain its operational capability and reliability. It was recommended that the college must adhere to the minimum requirement prescribed by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) by improving on the procurement and requisition procedures. This is highly needed in compliance with accreditation.
