Abstract:

Motorismo Festival in its 6th year is one of the country’s biggest motorismo festivals where thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts converge. Hence, the study aimed at exploring the axiological relevance of the Motorismo Festival in the province of Quirino. The phenomenological research design was utilized in the research, and the findings were verified through Social Media posts, comments, and tweets using Natural Language Processing (NLP), specifically Topic Modeling. Forty-five respondents were classified as riders and non-riders; included also were 519 posts consisting of 2045 words from social media. The Value of Enjoyment, Value of Bonding among Families and Friends, Information Drive for Environmental Concern, Value of being Passionate, Value of Teamwork, and Convergence of Motorcycle Enthusiasts were the themes that emerged and showed the axiological relevance of the festival. These findings were reiterated in the themes generated from the social media posts, comments, and tweets. In addition, the most common topic posted on social media is the fairness of the policies. Hence, the findings could be a comprehensive insight that could be a basis of the Provincial Tourism Office in improving the processes of the event.
