Sibling Rivalry Over Inheritance: An Analysis

Abstract:

When parents pass away, they often leave properties which should be divided among their children. Ironically, there are cases when these same properties are the very things dividing the children. This paper presents situations of infighting among siblings on matters of inheritance; why and how it developed; the steps which may be taken to avoid it; and in certain cases, the steps to resolve it.
