The objective of this study is to find out which of the numerous teaching- learning modes is chosen by students in gaining and improving their knowledge, skills and competences. It also attempts to discover the factors that may impact preferences for a hybrid or blended teaching- learning mode and any relevant issues that the respondents may have. The study’s respondents are non-graduating college students at St. Paul University Quezon City. The survey questionnaires were sent twice, once before and once after the enhanced community quarantine, to assess if the respondents’ decisions had changed considerably. Findings reveal that respondents showed a high preference for onsite learning for the selected courses both before and after ECQ, as the majority, if not all, are laboratory courses that need skills-based instruction. Students, on the other hand, preferred lecture-discussion to be provided online both before and after ECQ since it does not need actual demonstration and practice. The study’s findings will be useful in preparing the University’s higher education department’s implementing guidelines for the school year 2021-2022.
