Abstract:

Boiler is the heart of the company and it is the most important equipment in the production. Its maintenance and upgrades should be conducted by the company not only to improve the boiler’s performance but also to improve the company’s production and income. Boiler efficiency has a big impact in production. High efficiency boiler helps to attain the required production capacity of a company. This study aimed to improve the boiler operation of Franklin Baker. The Franklin Baker has three boilers that operate for 12 days. This study also aimed to improve the working or operation days so that the company can maximize its operating time. Franklin Baker is one of the top producers of coconut products here in the country and to improve its present production, the researchers analysed and recommended alternative solutions that could improve the company’s boiler efficiency and extend their production days.
