The study determined if there is a significant difference between the level of altruism of student volunteers and employee volunteers in Colegio de San Juan de Letran Calamba and between the altruism level of student volunteers and employee volunteers when grouped according to their demographic profile. Using descriptive-correlational quantitative research design, 93 active volunteers consisting of 72 students and 21employees, were identified through total enumeration. The data were gathered using Altruistic Behavior Scale and were analyzed through frequency, relative frequency, weighted mean, chi-square, Kruskal Wallis H test, and Mann Whitney U test. The findings indicated that all the participants acquired a very high level of altruism since they have been members of their volunteer organization for a long period of time, which had shaped them to be experienced altruistic contributors. There was no significant difference between the altruism level of student volunteers and employee volunteers because they were both contributors to the welfare of other people. Likewise, there was no significant difference between the altruism level of student volunteers and employee volunteers when grouped according to their demographic profile. In conclusion, the study suggested that helping attributes can be observed in all ages.
