The study was envisioned to test the relationship of absenteeism and productivity level of production employees in ABC Company. The objectives of the study aimed to analyze and discover reasons for the occurrence of absenteeism and its relationship on production employees’ productivity level in ABC Company. The researchers employed a quantitative approach using correlational analysis. The total population of ABC Company’s production employees was utilized which is composed of three hundred and seventy six employees. A survey was distributed among a sample of employees to gather pertinent data needed in the study. The researchers utilized a validated survey questionnaire which enabled them to identify the relationship of absenteeism and productivity level of respondents. In the analysis of the data, the statistical treatments used were the frequency and percentage distribution; weighted means and Pearson’s r correlation coefficient were used to determine the relationship of absenteeism and productivity level of production employees. The major finding of this study based on the analysis of information gathered is that ABC Company’s absenteeism has no significant relationship with productivity. Although it is a positive result, the researchers still recommend that Human Resources and Production team of ABC Company should come up with programs boosting employees’ motivation to go to work regularly. The researchers suggest that Human Resources Department of ABC Company should conduct a policy review. There is also a need to come up with programs aimed to promote work-life balance to lessen absenteeism rate and maintain or surpass ABC Company’s current productivity level.
