Abstract:

Displaying lectures and solutions through visual aids enhance lectures. Whiteboards and chalkboards are primary things inside a classroom, which professors use to demonstrate and discuss their lectures. Acquiring the class lectures of the students is burdensome due to the time consumed by the students in copying the lectures on the board since the absorption of lessons is affected. This design project aimed to help both professors and the students maximize the time allotted to discuss and absorb lessons. This design will automate traditional lectures by allowing professors to send a file of written lectures and solutions to students after the class. It will also help those students that do not have complete lectures and those who need backup files of the lectures. With this innovation, they can simply access the cloud storage and download the files that they need. The system includes the use of an Android Application, a Web Application, Network Attached Storage, a mobile device, and a Projector. The design project employed a purposive sampling method to identify the Android Application’s functionality and usability. Checklists were also used to identify other system’s functionalities. Respondents found the system useful and sufficient in terms of functionalities.
