This study investigated the feasibility of using the cotton pad wastes produced by Form Asia Inc. The cotton pad is made up of 60% Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) and 40% cotton, which can be used to form a new product called the ergonomically designed relaxing pillow with built-in massager. The product consists of the said excess cotton pads with a built-in massager that would serve as a lumbar support to give the user the comfort they need. The goal of this study was to develop a high-quality product that does not only help people in reducing the risk of having neck and back pain but also help in decreasing environmental problems through segregation, reusing, and recycling. The researchers used descriptive method to gather information and data needed in the study. They distributed survey questionnaires to respondents within the target market in Calamba City, Laguna. They also interviewed the residents to determine if there was a demand for the product. The researchers considered the industrial plant of BAR Manufacturing in Barangay 1, Batino, Calamba City, Laguna to make the distribution of raw materials and finished goods easier, hassle-free and convenient.
