Abstract:
The idea of free-time activities has not yet fully evolved in the present era. The debate will be interesting if one can determine the basic knowledge of free time among the individuals. There is also little or no attention given to sustainability in connection with the free-time activities. We are in a state of disarray, a state in which living beings cannot stand for a lifetime in their surrounding environment as it does not support them. The present study aims to investigate the free-time activities among the Rongmei tribe of Manipur. It is mainly concerned with the male population. Males are the foundation of society, and the majority of them are the primary providers of income. The population of the study consisted of 22 male members of Siangai Namdai village of the Rongmei tribe in Bishnupur District, Manipur. A self-questionnaire was used to collect the data. The reliability of the questionnaire was originally determined on a Likert scale consisting of strongly agree, agree, neutral, disagree, and strongly disagree. The Cronbach's cut off p value (alpha) is used. It is observed that in eleven questions, the respondent relied on responses such as strongly agree, agree, and neutral. According to the findings, men spent their free time on average in accordance with their sustainability. The main reason for considering free time activities is that they support time, faithfulness, patience, and the habitual sharing of long-term goals.
