Mental Health during Pandemic

Candice Que-Ansorge

Abstract:

Everyone reacts differently to stressful situations such as an infectious disease outbreak. It is normal to experience a wide range of emotions. A pandemic is not just a medical phenomenon; it affects individuals and society, causing disruption, anxiety, stress, stigma, and xenophobia (Javid et al., 2020). This global problem impelled people to distance themselves from others to avoid the further transmission of the virus. Nonetheless, confinement measures affect personal relationships and mental health.
