Factors Affecting the Success of Letran Calamba's College Basketball Program

Abstract:

Factors affecting the success of the basketball program have been set aside for so many years. There was no study or research about it even though it had been clearly seen that there was a problem with the basketball program of the Colegio. This study aimed to unveil the factors affecting the success of the Basketball program. The researchers reviewed the challenges encountered in the training design, qualification of hiring coaches, recruitments of athletes and the benefits of athletes by conducting surveys and interviews with the officials in the Athletics and Sports Department and the athletes of the Colegio. Mean and frequency distribution were used to interpret the gathered quantitative data. Both the Department and the athletes have to do something to improve the basketball program of the Colegio.
