The Science teachers in Letran Calamba are currently using PowerPoint presentation for lecture and discussion, and pen and paper for assessment and quizzes. These materials for teaching, however, were not effective enough to maintain the interest of the Grade 5 students and to engage them in the subject. The pupils were having a hard time coping with the subject, thus resulting in below average ratings in their activities. The proposed system is a multimedia learning tool which could upload and download learning materials as well as create an assessment and generate accurate reports. The system provides a game-based platform in which the user can interact and enjoy while taking an assessment. Its purpose is to help the students to learn in the Science subject more actively. A pre-assessment survey was conducted to determine the challenges of the 5th graders in their science subject. On the other hand, a post assessment survey was also conducted to know the feedback of the client about the developed system. The researchers found that the system could make learning more interesting for the pupils, provide more accessibility to learning, and enhance the traditional teaching method. It could eliminate the problem of lack of motivation and interest in learning the subject due to ineffective and limited learning materials.
