A Feasibility Study on Optimal Auxiliary Outsourcing Services for Automotive Parts Industry in Sta. Rosa, Laguna

Abstract:

CMR Optimal Auxiliary Outsourcing Services is located in Santierra, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. This service business project focused on providing auxiliary services to the automotive parts industry in Sta. Rosa, Laguna to help companies improve their process. Project’s Long-range objectives. To achieve positive cash flow and return of investment, to provide a fast and quality service that will satisfy customers and gain competitive advantage. Once the service business has achieved profits greater than 100% of the partner’s capital contribution in five years, the partners will then agree to expand the business. Feasibility Criteria. Proximity to the Market. The service business project will be located in the area near the Automotive Parts companies in Sta. Rosa, Laguna where there is significant demand for the auxiliary outsourcing services. The company will assure fast and quality service for the customers. History. This feasibility study was thought of to provide optimal solution to the problem being experienced and to help automotive parts companies to improve their current processes by offering a fast and quality auxiliary service that will provide solution to inadequate and overstock supply of auxiliary materials. Project Time Table and Status. From the conceptualization of the study, to marketing study, up to the recruitment and training of the personnel fit for the job, the proponents will invest about one year before the normal operation of the proposed service business. There may be some adjustments in the beginning, but eventually the business will operate continuously and be profitable over time. Market Feasibility. The market study showed an assurance of the profitability of the project for it would supplement the unsatisfied demand for the auxiliary services. Technical Feasibility. The type of processes involved to execute the service, the structure of the business, characteristics, functions, and other services offered were discussed. Financial Feasibility. The total cost of the proposed service business is Php 1,080,832.76 which includes the operating expenses, first month cost of service, property, plant and equipment. This service business will have a payback period of 2.17 years to recover the investment capital. Socio-Economic Feasibility. The project will help in reducing the unemployment rate in the City of Sta. Rosa, Laguna. It can also benefit the national government through the income taxes and VAT to be collected from the company which can be used for community development. Management Feasibility. The business organization will be in the form of partnership where the legal requirements are easier to acquire. Environment Feasibility. The service business will implement proper waste disposal. The recycling method will also be used for the disposal of the scraps to be able to create new products out of the said scrap.
