Abstract:

This study focused on identifying and defining the process in order to achieve the optimal allocation of workers for job orders forwarded by the manufacturing service centers from Biñan, Calamba and Sta. Rosa. Using quantitative method of research, the study identified the preferences and demands of passenger vehicle owners from 399 respondents in the selected areas. This became the basis of the type of business to be established. Also, using qualitative method, the standard time in processing job orders was determined. This would help in minimizing the processing time of the job order and in determining the areas where the business can improve compared to competitors. The researchers recommended the use of simulation to easily determine the time when the job can be completed faster. Considering the weight of the job or the severity of damage will also help in determining the critical factors of the processes.
