Establishing Solutions of Preventive Maintenance and Calibration Services around Automotive Companies in Calamba, Cabuyao and Sta. Rosa, Laguna

Abstract:

The purpose of the project feasibility study is to establish a service-based firm/company offering preventive maintenance and calibration services to the target market of 27 automotive companies in Calamba City, Cabuyao City and Sta. Rosa City, Laguna. The demand and supply for the services had been computed and analyzed to identify if the proposed project would be acceptable to the market and to determine the capacity of the company per service contracted. Results revealed that the project could meet the target output of the researchers. The technical aspect detailed the step-by-step process of the business, the clear agenda on how the business and its services will run. The different costs needed to run the company were used for the pricing of the different services and to calculate the possible income and return of the investments in the next five years. Planning the execution of the service comprised the use of Operation Research Tool such as Scheduling Technique (Priority Rule) to strengthen the study and provide a true and feasible platform that delivered concrete analysis and process of the marketing, technical and financial aspects. The organizational aspect identified the employees needed, the benefits that they will receive and the time table of events found in the Gantt chart of the company. The study also detailed the benefits of the business to the global and local economy. The waste disposal method was also planned to show care for the environment.
