DELIVERY OF BASIC SERVICES AND SATISFACTION LEVEL OF THE RESIDENTS OF BARANGY EAST, TIPAZ DISTRICT, TAGUM CITY

Abstract:

This study ascertained the significant relationship between the extent of the delivery of basic services and the satisfaction level of the residents of Barangay East, Tipaz District, Tagum City. The study employed the descriptive correlation method using primary data from the Barangay office to assess the extent of the delivery of services and to assess the extent of the delivery of services and a questionnaire to elicit responses on the satisfaction level of 123 household respondents. Result of the study revealed that the extent of implementation of health and sanitation services was the highest followed by the infrastructure, education, housing/water facilities and social welfare. The residents were moderately satisfied with these services.  Statistical test disclosed the significant relationship between the extent of the delivery of basic services and the level of satisfaction of the residents.
