The primary objective of this study is to investigate the lived experiences of Technology and Livelihood Education teachers in the teaching environment. This study employed a phenomenological research design which aims to determine the experiences and perceptions of the participants. There were four themes that emerged in the experiences of TLE teachers in the new normal teaching environment, which were meeting learners’ expectations and interests, content and multimedia adjustments, deficiency of technology, and infrastructure and complexity of assessments. Meanwhile, the themes delved into the coping mechanisms of Technology and Livelihood Education teachers; four themes emerged, which were time management, building communications and relationships with at-risk students nurturing inner optimism, and establishing collaboration. Further, the following are the themes culled from the educational insights of the participants, which were the capacity for continuous improvement, being open and adaptable to change, and support for psychological and socio-emotional well-being. This study implied that policymakers to synergize better with school leaders and teacher trainers so that policies specifically pertaining to curriculum, assessment, pedagogy, and technology can be reformed in a relevant manner to ensure enhanced support and resources for the new normal in school education. The results generated provided comprehensive data for conducting future research with similar or relevant scope.
