Abstract:

The massive aquifer of Dumoy Toril supplies most of the seemingly unlimited water supply for the drinking requirements of Davaoeños. Even with the rowing campaign for wise water consumptions and conservation, the level of awareness and behavioral practices of the Davaoeños toward water consumption remained undetermined. The descriptive correlational method was used to investigate the households in Matina, Davao City. If the Davao community remains passive in taking water conservation measures seriously, one can assume that the trend of water shortages and other water resources and supply in developed urban areas wil also be experienced by the residents of Davao City in the future.
