SCHOOL BASED MANAGEMENT PRACTICES AND LEARNING OUTCOMES IN BINUGAO DISTRICT, DAVAO CITY

Abstract:
The study was conducted to estimate the school-based
management practices and learning outcomes in Binugao District
Schools in Davao City. The research design used was descriptive
– predictive method, where School Heads, School SBM
Coordinators other stakeholders were randomly selected as
respondents of the study. Observance of proper protocols of
health and ethics in the research was strictly employed. Mean,
Pearson’s r and Linear Regression were used to analyze the data
gathered. Findings revealed that School-based management
practices among Binugao District Schools are in excellent
practice. Indicators of learning outcomes performance are
excellent with respect to the school’s profile indicators and
nutritional status among learners. The Study concluded that
Leadership and governance, accountability and continuous
improvement, curriculum and instruction, and resource
management are the SBM practices that significantly correlate
with the ILO Performance among schools. These principles
significantly influence the ILO Performance among schools in
Binugao District Schools.
