The Social Support and Its Relationship to the College Students’ Burnout Amidst the Online Learning Modality

Abstract:
The pandemic has clearly affected higher education institutions through the transition of its learning modality to online.
Furthermore, this study investigates the relationship between social support and burnout among college students amidst the
COVID-19 pandemic. Utilizing descriptive-correlational design, the result of the statistical analysis indicated that social
support and academic burnout has a significant relationship (r=0.158). Implications of the study were discussed and
recommendations for future research were suggested.
