This study aimed to investigate the challenges encountered by school leaders in distance education, which has been implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study was carried out as a case study of quantitative research methods. The research study comprises school leaders and provides education in the SDO Navotas during the school year 2019 to 2022. In order to collect data, the researcher created an interview form and questionnaire. Then the form was applied to the school leaders on a volunteer basis. The content analysis method was used in the data analysis. At the end of the study, the problems experienced by the school leaders were collected under the themes of implementation, technical, and instructor. The school leader stated that they mainly faced problems such as the transition to distance education, technical connection problems in the education portal during live classes and no computer/internet, decreasing motivation of teachers, inadequate parental support, lack of distance education support for inclusive and disable students, decreasing motivation of learners, provide academic monitoring, technical assistance, adapt with the advanced technologies, voluminous tasks lead to mental and emotional distress, inadequate learning resources, conflict with home responsibilities and compromised physical health. Determining the problems is the first step to proposing an action plan for learning and teaching improvement.
