The key purpose of this research was to find out the profile of the respondents who were the Arabic Language and Islamic Values Education (ALIVE) teachers of Madalum Central Elementary School in terms of their age and gender; the challenges they encountered in terms of content, input, process, and product, the coping mechanisms employed; and the significant relationship between the challenges and coping mechanisms of the ALIVE teachers. An action plan was created to provide a solution to the problems encountered. This study employed the descriptive-correlation research design which used questionnaire data. The descriptive research described the challenges and coping mechanisms of ALIVE Teachers in the new normal and performance of pupils in Arabic language and Islamic values. There were 30 ALIVE teachers from Mandalum Central Elementary School who were respondents in this study. The data were collected, analyzed, and interpreted by using mean, and standard deviation. The results had shown that there was no significant relationship between the challenges and coping mechanisms. The researcher of this study made an action plan to make the educational process more effective and easier to comply with.
