A Discussion Paper on Organization Development and Planning

Abstract:
Organization Development and Planning (OD) are two crucial attributed strategies organizations and
institutions employ to accomplish specified objectives and maintain competitiveness, in this case,
among educational institutions. Organization Development in the light and connection to planning
promotes change. It improves organizational performance by increasing organizational effectiveness
and health by providing planned interventions in processes situated by organizations or educational
institutions, per se. Team building, leadership development, staff training and development, and
process improvement are just a few strategies that can be implemented in line with organization
development.
