The proposed product is “Kalabasa Bread.” It is made of all natural ingredients, specifically, the squash fruit which make the product more nutritious. Kalabasa Bread, which comes in buns, is sweet in taste, yellowish in color, and is intended to be not only a delicious but also a nutritious snack for children. It would be packed in polyethylene plastic with a net content weight of 60 grams. The label of the product would contain its brand name, ingredients, manufacturer’s name, and product location.
The proposed project aimed to achieve the following: (1) expand the business through the establishment of branches in other areas of Laguna; (2) provide consumers with high quality nutritious products; and (3) compete with other existing snack products.
Through this study, it was found out that the proposed business is feasible, viable, reliable, and profitable through the following assertions:
1. In the marketing aspect, it shows that there is a demand for Kalabasa Bread. Based on the survey, 69.31% of the respondents were willing to try the product.
2. Based on the financial analysis of the study, the proposed business is going to be financially viable for it will result to desirable net income.
3. The simplicity of the operation, the availability of raw materials, and the strategic location of the plant contributed to technical feasibility.
4. Kalabasa Bread as well as its production has a very little environment impact.
