Abstract:

This study primarily determined the PnC Core Values and Employability of BS Psychology Graduates from Academic Years 2014-2015 to 2017- 2018. This research used descriptive-correlational method. The data were gathered from one hundred (100) graduates from academic years 2014-2015 to 2017-2018. The demographic profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender, civil status and year graduated were obtained. Results showed that most of the respondents are employed and landed a job from one to six months after graduation. In addition, majority of the respondents are in the industrial settings, currently holding positions related to Human Resource. Since there is no significant difference in the level of existence of the core values of PnC Psychology graduates when grouped according to demographic profile, this indicates that graduates were competent in their job regardless of gender, age, civil status and year graduated. The extent of core values which psychology graduates incorporate their field of work derived from the selected indicators: God-centeredness, Excellence, Responsibility, Environment Friendliness, Orderliness, Unity and Service to others. The indicator responsibility has highest weighted mean and Environment Friendliness gathered the lowest weighted mean.
