Abstract:

The study was designed to determine the degree of employee engagement with three indicators, vigor, dedication, and absorption, and employee performance with three indicators task, adaptive, and contextual. It also sought to establish the connection between Población, Tacurong City's BLGU employee engagement and performance. The descriptive study assessment approach was used in a quantitative research design and utilized a purposive sampling technique. The survey questions were adapted and contextualized to match the study's respondents from several related studies. Data analysis involved calculating the mean and Pearson product-moment correlation. The results indicate a very high level of both employee engagement and performance. Additionally, it shows a strong correlation between employee engagement and the performance of the BLGU of Población, Tacurong City. The survey result can help the administrators of BLGU of Población understand their employee engagement and performance, which may help not only the employees but also the BLGU of Población itself. Further, this study can also guide the higher authority on progressing the engagement and performance of BLGU employees.
