Abstract:

Filipino animation graduates have encountered uncertainty, challenges, and opportunities during the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Through this inquiry, the employability status of animation graduates from a Philippine Private Higher Education Institution was traced through a descriptive research design. An adaptation of a graduate tracer study was used to collect substantial information about the employability of the animation graduates. Results revealed that animation graduates have secured a job less than a month after their graduation and hold regular or permanent status. Meanwhile, some of the graduates mentioned that they encountered challenges being employed due to a lack of work experience and job opportunities. Consequently, the said graduates believed that the course offerings and activities were very relevant to their current workplace.
