Abstract:

This descriptive-survey study aimed to determine the extent of awareness and level of satisfaction on the student affairs and services of DMMMSU- MLUC, City of San Fernando, La Union as the basis for policy recommendation. A total of 120 students from the Institute of Criminal Justice Education (ICJE) was selected as respondents of the study. A survey questionnaire was used as a data-gathering tool. Frequency counts and median were used to describe and analyze the data. Results of the survey showed that the students were generally very much aware and satisfied with the student affairs and services rendered by the university. However, there were also areas where further improvement can be made, specifically on guidance and counselling services, career and job placement services, student handbook development, as well as services related to student council/government, student discipline, and student yearbook. Hence, policy enhancements were recommended to improve the level of awareness and satisfaction on said services dimension areas.
