Abstract:

Over the years, there have been countless studies related to work-life balance in different areas of literature; however, there needs to be more work-life balance related to productivity in higher educational institutions. Work-life promotes individuals to maintain a healthy balance between their personal and professional lives, and productivity is crucial for businesses to expand. This study determined the work-life balance and productivity of teaching and non-teaching personnel in a private higher educational institution in Binalonan, Pangasinan, Philippines. It determined the significant differences and relationships among variables. A descriptivecorrelational design was used in this study. A selfconstructed questionnaire was administered to teaching and non-teaching personnel of WCC Aeronautical and Technological College from the A.Y 2021-2022. The data collected from the respondents were processed using percentile, weighted mean, independent t-test, and Pearson-r correlation, and it showed a moderate worklife balance among the respondents and a moderate productivity observed through work habits and work skills. In addition, the study found no significant difference in the work-life balance and productivity of work designated as teaching and non-teaching personnel and no relationship in work-life balance and productivity of the respondents, both teaching and non-teaching personnel, to the profile variables. The findings suggest that the institution encourages its teaching and nonteaching personnel to enroll in post-graduate degrees for professional development to increase productivity. The management should ensure that the personnel engage in recreation and leisure activities to balance their work and personal lives.
